Margaret Herd TD RGN RM RCNT DN (London)

Up until her retirement, Margaret’s last senior position was Director of Quality Assurance and Professional Nurse Adviser for the Wirral Community and Support Hospitals Unit (now renamed as the Wirral and West Cheshire Community Trust).

Prior to this, she held the posts of Inspecting Officer and Registration Officer for Private Nursing Homes in Wirral. From 1976 to 1984 she served as Nursing Officer at the Department of Medicine for the Elderly at Clatterbridge Hospital.

In addition to her work for Wirral Holistic, Margaret is currently Director and Vice-chair of Age Concern, as well the Wirral representative of the Community Health Council, chairing the Acute Services Committee.
